Stranded Indian nationals or Indian nationals who have lost their Indian passport during their visit to France can directly approach the Consulate for issuance of an Emergency Certificate / Passport.

Applicants seeking any passport related services shall have to apply online at the Government of India passport application website at the following link:

After completing the application online at the above mentioned website, the applicant shall take a print out of the application and approach VFS centers for submitting documents. It may be noted that only online completed application forms for various passport services will be accepted. Application forms for passport services will be accepted at VFS centers in Paris and Marseille. Applications for passport services can be deposited at any of these centers, depending on the convenience of the applicant irrespective of the place of residence of the applicant.
